For a book titled "Meeting Saddam's Men" this effort contains surprisingly little information about any such actual meetings. The author devotes a half dozen or so pages to the subject, and gives us nothing but generalities and some personal impressions.
There are two things in this book that are revealing of the mindset of the author, and by extension probably of his employers and handlers. The first is his virtual dismissal of the suggestion of any Israeli influence in the US decision to invade Iraq in 2003, when it is blindingly obvious to anyone with two or more brain cells that the invasion would never have occurred WITHOUT pressure from Israel and its potent lobby in the US, not to mention its agents in key positions throughout the US Government.
The second is to be found on page 215, where Robinson goes into the matter of chemical warfare agents in the ongoing conflict in Syria. His assertions here are simply astonishing in their breadth and mendacity, and in fact go beyond anything I have seen in the general run of Western propaganda on the subject. Robinson provides no reference or evidence in support of his claim that the Syrian regime used CW in a deliberate terror campaign against "its own people". Recent revelations about political manipulation within the OPCW merely confirm what has been obvious to informed observers for years: CW are the weapons of choice for Western secret agencies mounting false-flag attacks, whether in Syria or in Britain itself.
