No Christian who has ever read this story for themselves would give this show a 5 star review. I truly feel a Christian would either have to separate this show from the Bible, or not know the Bible at all to watch this. So I'm giving it a 1 star because I feel let down. The books of Samuel 1&2 have always been some of the most wonderful stories I've ever read. I've always longed for a big production that would just let the Bible be the script. So much drama, love, hate, sex, murder, backstabbing, action! You would think hollywood would love it!! But no not good enough. I was only a few minutes in and felt "that was so unnecessary". Storyline added for zero purpose. For those who haven't, Christians go read the story for yourselves and enjoy this fantastic story. I could go on but I'm done
