I was not entertained. They tried too hard to copy the essence of Russel Crowe, like when a younger sibling does something to be as cool as their older sibling. Points for Denzel Washington's cunning character and giving the feel of a real Roman politician. Also, they modified the original storyline saying Lucius was Maximus' son. FALSE, his momma had a thing for Maximus (justified), but Maximus' son was killed in the beginning of the film with his wife. Only reason it has 1 star is 0 stars isn't an option.
