It is an easy read and a real page turner. I enjoyed reading it thoroughly, though the end was predictable.

Manju Warrier is pathetic in the title role. Her frequent loud laughter gets on one's nerves since it sounds contrived. The least said about her dubbing the better.
Tovino Thomas is endearing as Krishna.
Murali Gopi and Anoop Menon were okay. And I don't understand why they couldn't rope in the real Vijayalakshmi since they did get Chullikkad to play himself.

Rajat Kapoor and K.K. Raina were brilliant. Even the guy who played Bakshi's valet did a great job. The series is easily one of the best of this genre in Indian TV history.
