Cast away is a superbly made film. You immediately empathized with Tpm Hanks predicament. In the beginning you wondered whether Tom Hanks would get out of the island. Then it dawned on me that this is a Tom Hanks movie and there will be a happy ending. I just have to wait for it. I decided to enjoy the scenes where he was coping with island life with hardly any tools (e.g. no matches, no medicine, no fishing gear,). .

Excellent script. Richard Gere is as usual very endearing. He was perfect as Lancelot. But he would have been perfect as king Arthur. He's too young for the role of king Arthur. When they remake the movie. Maybe Richard Gere can play king Arthur. I don't have a recommendation for who should play Lancelot. Oh what about Brad Pitt. Does anyone think he can play Lancelot?

This is atrue gem. I wish I found it sooner. Nevertheless I found it while its still available on Netflix.I wish more people can view this movi.
