Wow! So intense. Definitely disturbing. Not for the faint of heart...
It's true, real, scary, and depressing. This is not sci-fi, it's reality. Apparently, some viewers were looking for Sci-fi, but it says 'Documentary'. Sure, it's a documentary with a point, but I can't imagine a documentary with an opposing perspective that could stand against it. If there was one, I would watch it, but I honestly feel like it could only be propoganda. There is a difference between propaganda and bias, and though there is an obvious lean here, it is not propoganda. The documentary/drama message is obviously beware, be careful, and take nothing for granted, as we spoiled Americans tend to do after 200 years with our hard won democratic government. This 'docu-drama' vision shows our unsuspecting populous what could be; many sci-fi movie stories have come to pass in recent history, but I really don't think this is sci-fi. I think we should just take seriously what is being presented.
Not that being aware is a safety net, as the protagonist says, 'What could I have done? Could I have done anything?' The purpose of the film isn't to say what can be done; it's just to say hey! Anybody out there concerned? I don't know about you, but I am, and have been, and this film clarified what and why in an amazing way. People are so ready to jump to 'propaganda'. Everything is not propaganda. Some things are just facts. I can't imagine how anyone could say that the circumstances represented in this documentary were not true, nor could I imagine anything that could be represented to support the bad things as good, but if so, please do. So many here seem to be saying that they might. In any case, anyone from any political affiliation should give what has been presented in this documentary serious consideration if we have any hope to come together and continue as a democratic nation
