This is a very solid LP album. Yes, Chester has gone but Mike, Brad and Hahn very much still front and centre of the sound with Emily doing a bang up job as lead vocalist. She has the raw energy, the scream and the visceral punch that LP need as a lead. All without pretending to be Chester. He would be very happy that his mates found a way to keep going and honour him at the same time. The Emptiness Machine, Heavy is the Crown, Cut the Bridge, Good things Go, Stained, Two Faced are my personal favourites but there is something in here for all flavours of fan; from Hybrid Theory and Meteora to Minutes to Midnight and a Thousand Suns.
