The movie set in the 40s captures the essence of the film noir environment ...the tension of WWII.& the tough guy hats of the Humphrey Bogart, Edward G Robinson era and is Brilliant! The plot is simple really in a very complex situation and then shocks you ...how simple it all is Why this film did not win the Academy Award I will never figure that out, they say it had bad reviews when it was released... I just can't understand why that was ??? It appears that everyone that did see it loves this movie 🍿 You will too ❤️
