When I first watched this, having loved the UK version, I was a disappointed and only made it halfway through Ep 3 of Season 1, however, on the advice of my brother I gave it another go and I love it. In fact I'd as far as to say I prefer it to the UK version - part of that is down to Rebecca Wisocky (one of my favourite actresses) as she plays a very similar character to Evelyn in Devious Maids - the best TV female character; the only reason I can't give it 5* is because I find the main character (Samantha) immensely irritating. There have even been a few moments where I have literally laughed out loud, which is not something I do often.

Oh my goodness; that's 102 minutes of my life I'll not get back. I love me a good romance and have no shame in admitting I am a lover of the Hallmark channel, but this.. well.. dire is really the only nice thing I can say about it. I kept watching in the hope it would get better; sadly it never did.
