Movie making at its best. A true blend of commercial elements for movie fans and our rich culture from Tulunadu
Why should we watch?
- Brilliant performances from all actors. They have lived the character than mere acting. Rishab Shetty has exceeded the expectations of a movie lover and set a high benchmark as an actor
- Cultural beliefs about Daiva and Kola are sensitive. Depiction has been spot-on by not hurting anyone's sentiments
- Background Music and Cinematography are class apart. Music elements (E.g., Chande vaadya) are very real and local. Makes it easy to relate to the atmosphere.
Majority of the movie is picturised in the night and it's a visual treat
What could have been better?
- Storyline. This goes on usual, expected tone with less twists. At times, you keep waiting for climax (which is the best part of the movie) and feel it is getting dragged
Overall, a must-watch for Kannada movie fans.. especially if you belong to Tulunadu and know about Daiva and Kola rituals. Movies like this are not made very often and need encouragement when made 👏👏👏
