A beautiful piece of literature that inspired a chain reaction of other great worked after it such as Twilight, Dracula (of course), and Fifty shades of Grey. Carmilla's erotic nature is inseparable to readers between her desire to kill Laura, and her 'love' for her. I read it in a few hours as I couldn't put it down. I wish more people knew about this.
