India had a woman prime minister eons ago,before any other nation even considered the notion. But this show believes in galvanizing the idea that nothing has changed even today and India will always be a developing nation. How is it that a so called matchmaker or anyone around doesn't see anything wrong with the fact that a 25 yr old man is afraid of eating a brownie as his mother controls his diet but the same matchmakers instruct a strong/independent woman to go with the flow. Is a woman's authority only acceptable if it comes to the closed quarters of her home?? Such hypocrisy and misrepresentation of what women should stand for. Women are not objects who can be manipulated or molded if you have money, stop portraying and supporting such notions and making them sound acceptable in a society riddled with preexisting prejudices.
