Overall it was a goods children movie but I can’t say enough how disappointed I was. When I found out about the sequel to lava girl and shake boy I was so excited to see how their relationship evolved and I especially was waiting for sharkboys sassy comments or anything but it was as if it’s a different movie it’s a completely different world in the first its as if everything was created by Max’s imagination or dreams but in 2nd it’s as if aliens and super powers were just normal which makes no since since lavagirl was dreampt up and sharkboy lost his father and was raised by sharks. But knowing that the children of this upcoming generation have probably never seen the original which will always be the best in my opinion at least has good values and messages for younger kids but horrible storyline nothing made sense
