*Spoilers* Ahead So… big pharma wants to make a bunch of money. They realise that the leading cause of death in America is heart disease. As a result, big pharma hires a rag tag group of mercenaries including Scarlett Johansen to harvest blood from GMO dinosaurs in Central America. Dinosaurs have really big hearts, you see, so maybe, just maybe they can find a cure to high cholesterol while not having to encourage people to switch to the Mediterranean diet and take 10,000 steps a day. Not bad for a summer flick when you’re looking for an air conditioned environment. Not bad in general, but it won’t knock your socks off. It’s full of callbacks to the original JP, which some might find to be a charming homage, others might find it to be a cop out. Also, the girl who brings back the tiny dinosaur…. Who knows how big that thing will turn out to be. I guess we’ll find out in the sequel.
