What did I even watch? I am so glad I got a discounted matinee ticket, because this was so awful that several folls left the show halfway through.
I don't even know where to start. The acting was mediocre and barely believable, even as Bobby, Ranbir and Rashmika tried their best. The writing is just weird? Like is it about a tortured, mentally unstable "protagonist" or about an awful, dysfunctional family or about a "hero" (psychopathic!) versus a demented villain, who is only slightly more murderous and disturbed.
And what even was the purpose of Tripti Dimri?
I won't even bother with the misogyny, classism and other "isms"--there's just a lot of it but the movie doesn't even justify the purpose. It is as if they put it all in their to appeal to a specific demographic that the makers hope will overlook the trashheap this movie is.
