As a long time fan of dragon ball. This hurt my soul. I disliked the cgi animation. The story looks like it was written by me when I was 7. I tried to enjoy this movie, looking past the cgi , I still did not find a movie to enjoy. The pacing was way too fast. Some of the character development came out of nowhere. However there are parts that I enjoyed. I liked that this movie focused on Piccolo and Gohan since much of dragon ball always focused on Goku and Vegeta. I liked the fact that this movie was trying to redeem gohan, but I think it was poorly executed. The comedy was fun and I thought Pan was cute.
