this movie was literally the worst thing i've ever seen. sloppy writing, bad deaths, inconsistent and unlikable characters, bad plot if any, bad ending, and i was left with so many questions. they use the word ghetto for the poor neighborhood and it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth considering what that word is actually used for. it's clear the writer of the movie didn't know what a poor neighborhood actually looked like, everyone had clean beautiful clothes, there was barely any crime, and everyone had a house. there were two deaths brought up in the first 20 minutes that were meant to be meaningful and it really wasn't sad at all. one of the main characters, played by amanda seyfried who is a great actress, was the most inconsistent and poorly written character i've seen. when she was introduced i thought she was going to be a witty, one step ahead of everyone, calm and composed kind of character but then her character switched to some sort of damsel in distress, deer in headlights character then she switched to some sort of wannabe girl boss, badass, really cool character and it was really strange to see. they brought up plots that went nowhere, and they didn't even bring up a plot until halfway into the movie and it went nowhere. the ACTUAL plot was so poorly written and not interesting, it was just a couple breaking into banks and "restoring" justice but it really just seemed messy. they did a lot of telling and not showing straight off the bat and then after that switched to not telling enough and i was left with so many questions. they also used modern sayings like "follow the money" and just switched out money with time, which is just lazy and didn't make sense. there were so many instances like this and at one point they said time was measurable. this movie was labeled as a "thriller" i felt like i was watching a bad, barely sci-fi retelling of bonnie and clyde. BAD MOVIE DONT WATCH!!!
