Camilla sings amazingly but cannot act at all. Sadly fails to capture any emotion outside of song. Being that she is the main character it sadly taints the entire movie. Idina Menzel and stepsisters were very good. The movie takes from past Cinderella movies such as Slipper and The Rose and Ever After. Women empowerment first captured by Drew Barrymore in Ever After followed up satisfactorily here. A little more attention to casting actors who can also sing could have made a difference.
