In all fairness Stanley's Italian wasn't much better than Eva's Spanish. But I think the experience she attempts to report on feels contrived. Maybe because she doesn't cook these dishes or has a culinary background like Stanley. I am trying to get into it. But something is lacking and it seems others sense it as well.
