Jen Shone

I wanted to love this movie. There was so much good character development potential after so many movies of background angst. Unfortunately there was so much focus on humor, that it came across as cheesy for me. I love Marvel movies for their depth, the story. The way the stories blend together and the heros grow. This movie had so much depth, but instead of cleverly using humor to diffuse tension it just felt like the whole movie was determined to be a comedy. Over all not a fan, and that makes me sad because the Thor portion of MCU has always been my favorite.
