I just love St. Vincent and I love the doctors. But the billing department is something to be desired. I supposedly had insurance, but my insurance was denied for some blood work. Evidently my lab work was shipped off to a different agency. I have been making payments of $500 a month Yet I found myself in collections. I really can’t afford more than $500 a month. I would think it would fall under surprise Billing.. I thought that $500 was covering all of my bills acquired through St. Vincent’s. Very disappointed to find myself in collections after a good faith I’ve made to make my payments. I only owe $2000 and I’m making $500 a month payments. There’s no way I should’ve found my self in collections..
