Great from start to finish. It didn't disguise the brutality of slavery and nor should it of done. I think I went through just about every emotion possible. Will Smith's performance is worthy of an Oscar despite his previous actions. I don't understand why it's had bad reviews. Perhaps the critics need to learn to let go and critique realistically and professionally instead of bearing grudges because whatever you may think of Will Smith personally that man sure can act. Do yourselves a favour and make your own minds up and see this film for yourselves.
