There are only a few movies that had managed to capture the plain articulation of life as it is. No exaggeration nor beautification, it just showed the plain life. One might even think; how hard it can be to show the life as is without any subordination? Youth by Paolo Sorrentino was such movie and now I found another gem – Still Life by Uberto Pasolini. If you can, I must say, you should watch it. Eddie Marsan did a great job. The movie ends with a smile. It put a smile on us too, but it leaves the meaning of the smile to the bearer. A plain ol’ life, nothing else.

One of the worst sci-fi series I have ever watched. Can understand that this show is not about alien invasion fights and glorious blasting scenes. They try to tell the story from the people's perspective view - ok, understandable; but have they done that in this show? Nope. All of those 3 story arcs are painful to watch as they progressed. For a story that emphasizes the characters and their interactions, this story, there are no character developments and for that matter in this story, there is no story. It felt like, when you get grant money for research, you spend the whole money on blackjack and booze and then download some Wikipedia articles to show it your boss as your research. Basically, this is what the show runners have done.

Come on, it is Star Wars, how can they make it so boring, I don't know, perhaps bad acting and bad bad writing. If there is a story somewhere in there, perhaps Asoka will find it; given how they have portrayed Ashoka in the story, I am highly doubtful she will find it either.
