Epic Animal is a pure joy to people who can digest originality and of course violence, for them it's a high octane adrenaline trip to a world of Vanga's creation that allows lots of guns and killing. Superbly acted, great background music, the uniqueness of Animal lies in screenplay, true Vanga style and swagger..never shying away from calling a spade a spade, and always politically incorrect Ranbir Kapoor kills it as the main protagonist as the Alfa ..puttar of Punjab..suits him to the tee.. Enthralling affair, kudos to the director and the actors. Genre in itself, it's literally the director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's big middle finger to all our so-called movie critics who get paid to praise the ordinary and can't bear anything revolutionary and in your face as Animal. But definitely this is not a movie for the faint hearted who can't bear violence! One of the most violent movies I have watched in a theatre. For adrenaline junkies it's an edgy 201mins for pure adventure..either you are going to love it or hate it..but it's a superhit all the way..it's epic!
