Just finished reading my very first psychological thriller. I am glad I chose this novel. Literally could not put it down for the last 2 days (my exams crying in corner, no offence) A very remarkable twist. Still in the trance of this novel and won't be able to stop thinking about it for the next couple of days.
One thing that I think was missing was those bad memories, events or experiences that Alicia did not mention in her diary (she restrained herself from writing them down; but I believe it's the right of the reader to get the whole picture.) Maybe the author left those gaps intentionally, leaving the readers to ponder on them themselves or maybe it shows that Alicia herself had some idea about what was going on.
Loved Theo's character the most. The man is so good at acting even when alone, even more than Kathy I would say.
My favourite part was the dual timeline going side by side that gave the whole writing a special beauty. (Don't want to give spoilers but cannot restrain myself😭)
