It's a modern masterpiece. Brutal yet poignant, crushing yet melodic. Every part of this band shines on every track, no fat no filler, even the 10 plus minute closer breezes by. Even at its heaviest it never loses the underlying groove. This will be a monument in modern metal!

It's not a bad album, it's well made and performed. But with a few exceptions there's not much to get excited about. Its overly long, the mid tempo tracks are kinda boring to be honest. There's a few tracks that I'll surely listen to as part of my rotation but I cant see sitting through the entire run time more than a handful of times. I'd rank it in the lower third of their discography, pretty much on par with the last 2 albums.
