Danny is a Rhodesian ex troopie, (soldier), not a South African, let's clear that up first. Mr diCaprio did a great job with the accent. I take my hat off to him, he played the part like a real shamwari (mate), brilliantly done. I'm a Rhidesian so trust me I know. Good movie.
