It was an interesting read about life in the mid west cotton fields ideologies heavily based on religious scriptures and no extra cash for a luxury
Not having a plot and the ending leaving one up in the air dissatisfied me
The little boy carried serious secrets heavily weighing his shoulders like that of a worried mature man and I wanted to see these disclosed and out in the open to free the seven year old’s mind to live as an uninhibited carefree child
