my childhood movie i swear it doesn’t get enough recognition. it’s so good the plot is good the casting, it all just feels like a dream kind of. Like cinderella with once upon a time kind of style. my favorite ever.

First off, this being a romance is trying to romanticize kidnapping. The girl kidnapped this man while he had a girlfriend and forced him to pretend to be her boyfriend for his family. And she is such a drama queen, even though it was in 2007 I don’t understand how this slid through. At the end, he ends things with his girlfriend and kisses his kidnapper. Again, romanticizing kidnappers is NOT okay. Throughout the movie they tried to make the person watching feel empathy for her which was so wrong. If the gender roles were switched, this movie wouldn’t be produced.
