4 stars for effort. Yes the story is outdated and yes people will compare it with Liam Neeson's Taken (which it self is senseless but everyone liked it)..... But it is still engaging...... Vidyut this time tried to show his acting skills not martial art skills to make people realise that he is an actor not just a martial arts action hero who can do crazy stunts. Still people want to see him in doing only action. The rest of the cast is amazing as well, just felt like Shivaleeka's role should have been more written well.

I will be honest Mirzapur is a second hand discounted version of Gangs of Wasseypur which was made to compete with Netflix's Sacred Games, filled with same cliched and repetitive storyline of every UP & Bihar based crime drama series or movies. All the characters (let me be clear I am taking about the characters of the story not about the actors who played these characters) are interesting only because all them are "Chutiyas", rather all the characters are "Akhand Chutiyas". The series don't make any sense what so ever, though it is entertaining in bits and pieces. Most importantly all the actors who played their respective characters did a great job. Please don't make season 3 or else this itch will become a Bawasir.
