If you're thinking about picking it up for a previous generation console, don't. This game suffers extremely low, unstable frame rates even on higher end old gen consoles. Played it on a PS4 Pro (fitted with an SSD) only to be met with gameplay that hovers around 20fps, screen tearing, and fuzzy pixelation around all models that have a sharp edge. After some research, I saw that the game targets 4k resolution at an unlocked 30fps on PS4 Pro. In my opinion, I don't see the need for 4k in exchange for a more stable frame rate. I guess some developers still think people want games to look pretty over running smoothly. Both Nioh games and Strangers of Paradise do not have such performance issues, so it makes me wonder why this game runs so badly on older gen. Either wait for a proper optimization patch, or play it on a next gen console.
