The flash back sequences between Martha and her child's father very early in the film are so bad I thought we were dealing with an unreliable narrator. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, elements of the dialogue in this script are juvenile to the point of hilarity. Maybe it sounds better in Spanish? If you enjoy colour theory you'll like elements of this film but ultimately I felt like I was watching an interior design show and not a motion picture. Watch out for the scene between Juliane Moore and her personal trainer for a good laugh. Almost as funny as Megalopolis.
