The movie was...just okay and maybe deserves 3 stars if it was some random pop star or something, but this was the biopic for BOB MARLEY? It should have been a minimum 3 hour epic film. To millions, Marley was the most important musician/singer/songwriter ever. To many more millions, he is top 5. Dont get me wrong, Ray Charles, Freddie Mercury and Johnny Cash were great in their own rights, but Marleys movie should have been made with at least as much talent and effort as those films, but it wasnt. I really hope someone else makes a Bob Marley movie that at least tries to honor him as he deserves. Would be redemption. Maybe call the movie Redemption Song ;)

I rarely write reviews for shows or movies, but Im amazed reviews for this show are not much better than they are. When it comes to opinion about art, it always seems so arrogant to say, "they just dont get it", but it's hard for me to not draw that conclusion. Yes, if you are looking for action packed scenes with aliens and ray guns with a lot of pew pew pew sound effects, this isnt for you. But in terms of storytelling, this series has been phenomenal. I really cant wait for the 2nd season, and Im stoked Apple has seen beyond the reviewers that would give Independance Day 5 stars, but the Invasion series 2. This series deserves a 2nd season, and if they stay true to vision and press on, I could see it being a fantastic ride for many more.
