"Carry On" is, unfortunately, one of those films that leaves you questioning how it ever made it past the brainstorming phase. The plot revolves around a carry-on bag, which is as uninspired as it sounds, and the film does little to elevate this bizarre premise. The storyline is weak, riddled with unrealistic scenarios that strain any suspension of disbelief. Rather than embracing the absurdity in a way that might be entertaining, the movie falls into a trap of over-the-top dramatics and unintentional goofiness. Taron, who normally delivers solid performances, came across as an overly dramatic "buff dude," trying far too hard to add depth to a character that simply had none. His exaggerated acting made scenes that were supposed to be intense or heartfelt feel cringeworthy instead. Jason Bateman, a talented actor, was completely wasted here. His skills were overshadowed by the sheer lack of potential in a movie centered around something as mundane as a piece of luggage. It’s disappointing to see someone of his caliber in a project that doesn’t give him any room to shine. Overall, "Carry On" feels like a waste of time and talent. With a poorly written plot, goofy acting, and zero creativity, it’s a movie that falls flat on every front. If you’re considering watching it, save yourself the frustration and skip this one
