I WAS such a fan of the original series but after great anticipation for its renewal, I am so disappointed. What is missing is the original magic of the show. Great casting, directing scripts, mystery, and intrigue. Now? A mere imitation which is violating the basic premises of the original. CBS? You had a beautiful successful blueprint on how to do this show. Your producers have really screwed up on this one. It is so incomplete. Terrible casting at the very top. To Carry the show? You must have Gill Grissom in the lead and not that poor substitute who is not inspiring. Plus, getting beat by 2 MILLION viewers to Chicago PD, was also a huge error putting it against a well-established show. This will fail. And I so hate to see it. Do a review and note what is missing for the failful viewers who expected so much more.
