It is the most disappointing live action adaptation by Disney till date. Honestly speaking, they should've made webseries on Artemis Fowl. Disaster happens when you try to summarize three books in one film in just 90 minutes. I just can't believe it's a Disney movie. What's wrong with you people?? Artemis is the antagonist in the first book and eventually becomes the good guy. So what is the point in introducing him as a hero??? Isn't it a bit cliché?? Artemis Fowl had all the elements to be a spectacular film. But here we are.. Repeating history (Percy Jackson, Eragon). Why commander Root is a female??? Holly was meant to be the first ever LEPrecon captain . Looks like you guys are insane. What was Juliet doing in the whole film?? You people added her just because you knew there was a character named Juliet in the series?? And what the hell is Acculos??? It was never mentioned in the series, not even in a single book. And Artemis is a criminal mastermind from the beginning, he definitely hadn't suddenly discovered his father being a criminal kingpin. I read the books after watching the movie. I feel really sorry for the fans (including myself). Please Disney don't just make these kind of adaptations ever.. It's heart aching
