Awesome game, and i need to say, the elements on each Resident Evil is on this game, but there are a lot of things different that make the game very interested. Also the Resident Evil franchise maybe took of some of the elements present in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil 4, and specially Resident Evil 7. Why playing the game before those remakes, and Resident Evil 7 you can see very well some parts that reminds those games. It´s a trade mark from Shinji Mikami. There are a lot of exemples of The Evil Within there are in Resident Evil´s remakes such RE3. The scene in the metro, you can see some art´s and concepts from movies in walls, you can see this further in Resident Evil 3 remake. The enemys some times using weapons, like arrows, rocket launchers,chain saw witch there are in Resident Evil 4.To creat the visual and obscure and gore 2014, that will appear later on Resident Evil 7. This make me think a lot for the first time playing the game, there are a lot of things in similar in both franchise.I never expected that, and i´am very suprised. I enjoyed playing The Evil Within.
