I was excited by the prospect of a new series to help get us through Covid but this is definitely not it. I'm only a few episodes in, but not sure I'll carry on. I find the acting forced, the characters are really one dimensional, and who did the research??? In one of the early scenes, the young couple goes to the bank to ask for a mortgage for a "modest house" that costs $20thousand. It's set in the late 1940s. Starter homes were way less than that in those days. 20 grand would have bought you a very nice home.
