This film is based on the execution of two Australians Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran executed in Indonesia for drug running in 2015 who came to faith behind bars. I remember reading of it and the run up to the executions and it was a deeply moving and harrowing story, Therefore I wanted to watch this. I am also a Christian and thought this was a wonderful story of redemption. Sadly this film was woefully disappointing. The production and script was awful as was the acting. There was no tension and atmosphere and the prison camp and the sets were totally unrealistic. I expected to be moved but instead found myself laughing at just how bad some of the performances were, especially the guy who plays the jail warden, and just how implausible the whole portrayal in the film was. Surely that was not the producers intention: very sad.
