Someone please explain to me how come no one who knows him, including those closest to him, that he doesn't have a unique mindset that is different than other types of mindsets? This day and age I refuse to believe that everyone around him, his entire life, has been oblivious to his extreme difficulties in expressing himself etc... And if everyone KNOWS his mindset is rarer than most people's (maybe I'm just missing it here? 😳), why the bloody hell does everyone expect him to act any different than the person he is?? In short people are trying to stick a round piece into a square hole. What gives? What am I missing? P.S. Am I the only one who feels like after an entire season (and 2 episodes into season 2) that they are feeling the drag of this series? I mean after 10 episodes and there is absolutely no, zero levity is this series. Nothing but doom and gloom for the main cast (and everyone around them) episode after episode after... Yeah .. Don't know how much more I can watch without dropping it all together because I'll admit, I've got enough doom and gloom in my life, Im begining not to enjoy this much anymore.

Absolutely love Jeremy Brett as Mr. Holmes! He was the first actor I saw portray him and every other has paled in comparison. Yes even (especially) the version Robert Downey Jr. played (So unbelievable and over the top that it was simply ludicrous and an eye roller imho). I can't imagine anyone topping Jeremy Brett's charisma and execution in playing this role.

Another drama I wish I had never watched. 10% happiness 90% sadness, grief and tragedy. Top it off with watching 49 episodes only to have the main characters die in the end. What is there to like? Seriously.

Not sure who cried more in this series, the cast or myself.

I enjoyed this very much. American movies have no heart nor soul anymore, they have become all repetitious garbage imho. This program, I could feel the heart and soul in it. Beautiful acting all the way around. Been a long time since I've actually gotten caught up and carried away by a program. Thank you.

The acting was fantastic (save for the kissing scenes. The male lead looked like it was pure torture to have to kiss) and the story line was good (had it not been for those I would of given it 3 stars) I enjoyed it even through the convoluted and slightly confusing parts right up until the end. The end was not to my taste. I prefer clear concise and happy endings. Oh and P.S. I've read a lot of these reviews on here and people have been complaining about the bad guys not being able to hit what they were shooting at. If you watch and listen at the very end the antagonist says that he orchestrated the whole thing. In other words the bad guys weren't meant to actually shoot the good guys, only to give them a push in the direction the main bad guy wanted them to go.

Really tried to like this one, it was painful to make it to episode 34 and that took a few weeks of....gosh I'm so bored atm, got a few mins to spare, I'll see if it doesn't get better the next episode. The acting was good but character personalities were allll over the place. The only consistent one was the annoying "wild girl" and for the love of all that is holy, who would fall for someone who whines 95% of the time?!(And that's when I quit, when dude told Ms Whine that he liked her 😜. After mind you, he has been flirting and carrying on with Ms Fairy for 34 episodes.). I've seen Mr Yang's acting and he is good, very good but I didn't enjoy this wishy washy character who cant make up his mind who he likes, if he was going to be strong or run with his tail between his legs.

I'll say the acting was semi "ok" but the 3 main characters were pretty much unlikeable and the inconsistency of their personalities felt oh so wrong. The male lead character didn't feel as if he had a personality at all. Ever so boring to see his one and only side (revenge) episode after episode after episode. (Not to mention 90% of the show he simply stares with a dumb blank expression on his face. Let's hope that was in the script and not the extent of his acting skills). For being such a "righteous" character he let the fem lead do all the nasty dirty work he couldnt and ended up condoning it by continuing to let her stay. (Every time he shrugged off her cruelness I got more disgusted with him). As for the fem lead, I found absolutely nothing appealing about her whatsoever. She was mean, nasty and foul. So let's pair up a "good guy" and a "evil wretch" and call that a good ending. Mmmhmmm. But long before the ending I couldn't help but feel like the main character had sunk almost to the petty pathetic level of the evil old man. Maybe not ethically but in that he was so driven by revenge, that he spent so many years to get it, leaving nothing for the girl he "supposedly" loved. (Why bother having a love interest if there was virtually nothing there to begin with?). Ok I'm done. Going to file this one under the.. Oh wait.. I've forgotten it already....

Having a hard time liking this one. The modern female lead as far as I can see has the mentality of a ten year old brat with absolutely nothing cute, charming or appealing about her. In fact she comes across as an entitled, snotty child (the kind you want to smack) who is obsessed with money. The Prince being attracted to her makes his character appear either strange, dense or a sicko, haven't decided. 😜 Another odd aspect is the fact that she protests every time the Prince wants to make love to her which suggests he is doing it alllll wrong. Considering he treats her very well compared to the modern day man why is she so reluctant to like him? So many inconsistencies with no rhyme nor reasons behind them. Give it another episode or two if and when I am bored enough. Otherwise, thusfar doesnt appeal. Oh yes, whomever chose the hairstyle for the main lead should try another line of work. Truly awful and does not add to his appeal. The subtitling for this show on Utube is horrific! Wanna.. gotta.. That is bottom of the barrel, make you cringe perversion of the English language.
