A total disappointment is an understatement. They took a fantastic franchise and destroyed it. The plot is completely fragmented. I had no investment in the characters. I was so looking forward to this but was just left confused and a little humiliated. The ending was so ridiculous I was glad when it ended. Overall a total missed opportunity and I have no doubt will be a total flop. If you are a fan of the first two, then please don't waste your time with this mess.

I finally got round to watching this and really wish I hadn't. I'm more confused reading these reviews than the actual film. Does nobody know what is a good film anymore?? Maybe I'm just showing my age but this was a total piece of rubbish. Don't get me wrong, I can enjoy a good B movie when credit is due but this is on another level. The acting is awful, storyline well there really is none and is in no way a Friday the 13th film. The only thing it has in common is some kids fooling around near Crystal lake. Don't waste your time on this nonsense.

Giving a one star is extremely generous. The first one had that creepy vibe we all like in a good horror film, all be it a tad predictable. This one was a mess. While the gore was spot on and made you feel uncomfortable. The storyline and main characters were embarrassing. I wouldn't even put it in the same category as a good B movie. I'm so surprised by the great reviews. Maybe I'm showing my age by my tastes. But for me this was a total waste of time and would say the same to others who may want to watch.
