Series 7. Utterly unbelievable nonsense. Two murders and a violent bomb by episode 3. No Press interest. No mainland reinforcements. Lead cop discusses all his theories with suspects and any member of the public to hand. Lady detective goes off to isolated caravan at night on own when chief suspect still at large. Murdered visiting American not identified by cops but then they didn’t put out call for public help. Nine year old boy arrested and interviewed but no other adult present including parent. Houses searched without any warrant. Who writes this stuff?!!! It’s unbelievable nonsense! Later. Now a third murder. Still no Press interest at all. No TV crews. No press conferences. Suspect environmental terrorism. But no terrorist specialist help forthcoming. In fact no HQ Police Scotland interest at all. Most competent sleuths seem to be two young girls. Enid Blyton could do better. Now chief cop searching dark, deserted church. Scary music. Small torch. Psychopath on loose but no precautions or reinforcements to hand. Madness; losing the will to live.. ….
