So like most people the first and second season were good but once it got to the 3rd and final season , I kept forwarding and also not paying as much attention, only stayed because as a new Spanish student , i thought it would help along side my lessons to have a feel of the day to day lingo and it has definitely helped me increase my vocabulary and understanding. The writers of the show clearly ran out of ideas by the second season or they just had too many characters that they would forget about completely before returning to them, calvo’s allegiance to la diabla despite her always talking down on him and eventually losing everything made no sense at all, it’s like she had a spell on him...Catalina la grande looking exactly the same 20 years later or even the other characters was clearly a big big failure... Also all the women are fit slim hot women, is it like that In Pereira or Columbia... Also somehow in the final season while in Las Vegas , I haven’t been to Las Vegas before and don’t know if majority in last Vegas speak fluent Spanish or was it just easier not to cast fluent English speakers, this just sounded off... La diabla’s act was over done especially with her bossy attitude. How Catalina escaped a bomb blast unscathed was beyond my understanding, how she would also let Sebastian her younger son grow up away from her and Santiago after already losing one child Mariana to the drug trade is also beyond me, would a mother do that...the recaps were definitely too many, it felt like they were trying to make episodes last longer and longer. Having said all that I am watching the final season and Titi so far has been my favourite character.
