The movie was just bad. There was no body of water throughout the entire movie until the end, where we see forests, jungles and oceans when the camera is in the atmosphere. Even when offered water, characters say 'I'm good.' Humans can go without water for only 3 days. They've been on that planet for a week, they all should be long dead. The only glassy or green area in the movie was a on a volcano, which was completely pointless. The characters are just terrible to one another, the arguing gets real annoying after a while. They are impossible to like or to even root for them. The Caveman was the only decent character, even then he didn't speak full caveman. The ball was an unneeded, the ball droid just didn't have to be in the movie. Most of the time he was on screen it was on a stick, moving only left and right. The few times we saw its full self, there were crappy particle effects on the bottom, my theory, crappy CGI. The dinosaurs are like they're made of cardboard, being able to be throw around like rag dolls and being easily decapitated by humans with crappy axes. There are only 3 types of dinosaur in the entire movie, Velociraptors, Pterodactyls, and T-Rex's. What's with all the slow motion? It makes the movie much longer than it needs to be. Fun fact: Making your movies longer, doesn't make it better. This movie would probably be much better if the entire budget didn't go toward the damn credits. The credits were the only thing I actually liked about the movie because it had good transition and design. The CGI was just poor and sloppy, the raptor running animation made it look like Roger from American Dad.
