Everything just seemed…forced. The visuals were very uncanny and uncomfortable to watch. I will say Halle Bailey’s singing voice is beautiful but didn’t really fit this character. It just didn’t hit the mark….sadly dissatisfied with this live-action. Disney should’ve known better and done a completely different story or a respected African folktale movie.
