I've watched this movie many times...I enjoyed it...shelly winters is great in her role ...montalban is terrific also...this movie captured the depressing mood of the neighborhood that was the center of the film

I've watched several times, really enjoyed it. It was a great look at gleasons rise in show business, also showing a not so flattering side of gleason.
