The most generic plot for an action movie that is supposed to be a comic book adaptation. No where did I think 'this feels inspired by comics'. The humour is not funny at all. Some people enjoyed it but to me I only see an alright action film with jokes that flop and a story we've all seen a thousand times before.

Great acting and some cool squeamish bloody scenes. The plot however? Complete and utter blatant rip off of The Thing. Some of the special effects were a bit cheesy but not enough to take away from the movie. But the ending is a 1:1 copy of the end of The Thing prequel. I wanted to like it but its just so unoriginal I can't give the writers credit.

'Nope' is easily one of my favorite movies. Jordan Peele really has made a name for himself recent. Set the bar pretty high with Get Out. Personally wasn't as big of a fan of 'Us' but this one right here was a banger. It is generally odd which makes it all the more interesting. It has some skin crawling horrific moments and moments of comedy relief. I think the design of the main antagonist is also refreshingly unique while also playing off of old tropes. This movie will make you rethink what a flying saucer could be... If I had one complaint it would be that there wasn't enough Keith David. Other than that, I have no idea why this movie has mixed reviews. It was pretty freaking awesome.

Just started playing through the second one again and it reminds me in contrast what I loved about the first one. I still haven't beat the sequel but man I'm so pleased to be back into this game. I wanna go find a copy of the first one because I remember for a fact that it was one of the best first person shooters I've ever played. So far the second one is living up to its name. There are considerable changes to the second one like cell-shaded versus the realism graphics the first had. The new one has its own charm though and is very colorful and vibrant. Kind of laggy on my old PS3 unfortunately but still darn fun slicing dudes and eating their hearts with my demon serpents!
