Despite overwhelmingly positive reviews, I was not as impressed with Longlegs as I was led to believe I’d be. Plot-holes aside, the story itself felt disjointed with a mash-up of cliches that were not expanded on enough. The accomplice reveal fell totally flat, hardly making any sense even with the very direct explanation (hated that btw). The super-natural aspects of the movie were far too random and the killer’s motives felt extremely shallow. I would hope there is a prequel coming up to redeem itself by filling the gaps in what was lacking.
