Slow burn, but it does just enough to keep you from changing the channel and keep you engaged. The second half of the movie is where it really picks up, but then it makes you appreciate the first half and its slowness and in fact rethink what you initially thought about the first half..This will make sense after you watch it....

Great show...It really shows how trauma and abuse can fundamentally CHANGE you, and not to make it too deep but, victims of DV are always asked why they don't leave..This short seven episode series kind of shows how it isn't as easy as it seems, especially when an abuser has altered your PSYCHOLOGY...

A couple tracks in, and I can tell it's going in the right direction, one of his better albums recently..Plus 30 tracks no features, 13 albums in?? Give him his props..Definitely worth a listen...
