Very disappointed with this book! I thought we were getting a book full of hints and tips on how to repair and conserve a comprehensive list of items as shown in the programs. Instead I received a reiteration of an example of each discipline featured in the show together with the respective conservators memories of a particular job undertaken by them. Hints and aids are very few and far between ( for me the only good one being Don't eat an egg with a silver spoon as it will turn it black) If you are looking for help save your money and use Google
